How I Started Trading Forex

When I first discovered Forex, I honestly thought I had found the easiest way to make money. I saw charts moving up and down and thought, “How hard can this be? Just buy when it goes up and sell when it goes down.

”Well… the market quickly introduced me to reality. I made mistakes. I entered trades without proper confirmation, chased price, and sometimes treated the market like it owed me money. But those mistakes taught me some of my most valuable lessons:

Forex isn't about guessing where price will go. It's about learning to read the market, managing your risk, and having the discipline to wait for the right opportunity.

That journey is one of the reasons I wrote my Forex books — to help other traders avoid some of the expensive lessons I had to learn along the way .I didn't start as an expert. I started as a learner. And I'm still learning.
